About The Project
Pixel BIM provided coordination support for The Haebler Group on the BCIT Carpentry Pavilion project, where we produced a comprehensive coordination report to identifty coordination and constructability issues on the project during the preconstruction stage.
The report included 41 high priority issues resulting in a massive return on investment. The indentified issues included things like a missing footing and column – pictured below.
The coordination reports compare all disciplines against each other to identify discrepancies. Some of the issues we reported included:
- Housekeeping pad discrepancies
- A column located within curtain wall glazing (pictured below)
- No stairs shown in one location on the structural drawings
- Missing light fixtures and orientations
- Column size discrepancies
