About The Project
Pixel BIM provided comprehensive BIM services for a state-of-the-art 300,000 square foot food processing facility for Nanak Foods, which includes extensive production space, integrated office areas, and an on-site daycare.
Our scope of work covered full 3D modeling across all major disciplines, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical, developed to coordination-ready standards. Leveraging these models, we executed detailed clash detection using advanced filtering and search sets, ensuring only critical, constructability-impacting issues were flagged for resolution.
To support clear communication and reduce RFIs, we issued:

Clash Reports to identify and resolve spatial conflicts

Coordination Reports highlighting drawing discrepancies across disciplines

Virtual Construction Reports capturing missing or unclear information discovered during the modeling process
Our team also provided continuous model updates and layout support, helping the client refine the plant configuration and adapt to design changes throughout construction.
The result was a highly coordinated, constructible project that minimized rework, improved layout efficiency, and streamlined project execution from design through to construction.
